Sarine Basta

is an independent curator and the director of the Bureau des heures invisibles, a Parisian organisation that connects artists with civil society. Formerly head curator at the Sculpture Center in New York and more recently at the Confort Moderne in Poitiers, she was also the “Gulbenkian Curator” at the Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) in Paris. As a writer and an art critic, her articles have been published in numerous international art magazines including Texte Zur Kunst and Flashart International.
