Hafida Jemni

is the Director of the Department of Contemporary Art of Africa & Diaspora / Center for Applied Research in Culture contemporary at the IESA arts and culture in Paris. She is also independent literary editor and curator. At this title she has been working with Barthélémy Toguo since 2016 and has curated number of his monographic exhibitions around the world, including notably at the Busan Biennale in 2020, at the Galerie Lelong Paris in 2021, or at the Dakar Biennale in 2016 and 2022. Also critical of art, she is regularly published in the journals Afrikadaa, AMA, ArtsHebdoMédia and IAM.
